Milk futures, cash dairy lower
Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile ended the week lower pressured somewhat by negative cash market movement.
February Class III milk down two cents at $16.99. March down 11 cents at $17.01. April eight cents lower at $17.06. May down two cents at $17.12. June through September contracts three to seven cents lower.
Dry whey down $0.0225 at $0.37. Three trades were made at that price.
Blocks down $0.0450 at $1.82.
Barrels unchanged at $1.5850. Fifteen trades were made at that price.
Butter unchanged at $1.80. Twenty-four trades were made ranging from $1.80 to $1.8225.
Nonfat Dry milk down $0.0275 at $1.17. Five trades were made at $1.17 and $1.1750.
