U.S. ethanol supply at record levels

The U.S. ethanol supply hit an all-time high last week, the second record high reached this year.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration says stocks grew 246,000 barrels to 24.964 million, besting the old high by 183,000 barrels.

Weekly production averaged 1.079 million barrels a day, up 25,000 on the week.

The USDA’s next corn for ethanol use estimate is out on the 10th.
