USGC leader says winter meeting highlighted global strategy, opportunities
US Grains Council President and CEO Ryan LeGrand says the recent annual international marketing conference allowed members to plan for the coming year.
He says the council discussed opportunities for corn, ethanol, and DDGs in Vietnam and Indonesia; countervailing duty cases in Colombia and Peru, as well as emerging markets in places like Africa.
LeGrand says they’re also closely watching trade progress with the US Mexico Canada Agreement and the phase one trade agreement with China.
