Operation Weed Eradication Radio Road Show 3/27/20

BASF launched an industry-initiative targeting pigweeds on the farm.
In this Operation Weed Eradication Radio Road Show, Darren Unland, Technical Marketing Manager with BASF says pigweeds are troublesome for several reasons, not the least of which is that they produce a lot of seed.
Unland says using cover crops on the farm is one of the cultural practices they suggest.

Cover crops shade the ground and can provide competition for weeds.

Operation Weed Eradication includes a multi-year approach to cultural and mechanical practices, chemical control and eradication diligence on the farm.
