Burger’s Smokehouse says one worker has COVID-19
The largest producer of country ham in the U.S. says a worker has been confirmed with COVID-19.
Burger’s Smoke House in the central Missouri town of California says the worker and employees that had close contact with the worker are all quarantined.
The company says it will continue to use sanitizers effective against the virus, increase distancing and provide more protective gear to all employees as it works with the Moniteau County health department and follow CDC guidelines.
