CME milk futures down, cash dairy mixed Friday

Milk futures were down, and cash dairy prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.  

June Class III milk was down $.33 at $19.88.  July was down $.32 at $18.67. August was down $.18 at $17.38.  September was down $.10 at 16.97.  The milk futures from October through next May ranged from sixteen cents lower to nine cents higher.  

Dry whey was up $.0050 at $.3450 cents per pound.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Forty-pound blocks were up $.0275 at $2.5525 per pound. There was one sale at that price.

Barrels were down $.01 at $2.36 per pound.  Three sales were recorded from $2.325 to $2.36.

After the CME changed the limits Thursday, Grade AA Butter was down $.09 at $1.9250 per pound.  Fifteen sales were recorded from $1.9175 to $2.02.

Nonfat dry milk was down $.0225 at $.9775 per pound.  Six sales were recorded from $.9775 to $.9950.
