Nebraska’s crops look good

Nebraska’s crops look good, but rain would be welcome in some areas.
The latest crop progress report for Nebraska rates the corn crop 83 percent good to excellent, with soybeans at 82 percent and grain sorghum at 90 percent good to excellent.
Winter wheat rated 66 percent good to excellent. Sixty-seven percent of the crop had headed, behind the 82 average.
Pasture and range conditions rated 77 percent good to excellent.
