CME dairy markets mostly up Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy were mostly up to close the week at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.  

September Class III milk was up $.04 at $16.35.  October was up $.73 at $18.88. November was up $.44 at $18.53  December was up $.34 at $17.55  The milk futures from January through next July ranged from four cents lower in May to twenty-two cents higher in January.  

Dry whey was down $.0075 at $.3775 cents per pound.  Two sales were recorded at $.3775 and $.38.

Forty-pound blocks were up $.0150 at $2.5550 per pound. There were two sales at $2.5425 and $2.5550.

Barrels were up $.0275 at $1.66 per pound.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Grade AA Butter was unchanged at $1.5025 per pound.  Three sales were recorded from $1.48 to $1.5025.

Nonfat dry milk was up $.02 at $1.10 per pound.  Eight sales were recorded from $1.0825 to $1.10.
