MU Pixels of Production goes virtual

The University of Missouri’s annual education series for women in agriculture is going virtual. Formerly called Pearls of Production, the online Pixels of Production will feature female leaders in agriculture – including Temple Grandin.

Marcia Shannon, MU animal science professor and organizer of the event, tells Brownfield it’s a way for women in agriculture to learn from each other – and this online version is a way to reach even MORE women.

“It’s one of the benefits we hear from most of the women that participate. They like learning from other women and at the same time they like developing that network of other female leaders that they can communicate with and develop a working cohort together with.”

Pixels of Production begins this evening and includes a session on livestock identification and tagging. Scholarships are available.
