Around Halloween every year, we host a Trick-Or- Treating event for our local kids in partnership with a local hotel and banquet hall.  This past Halloween we saw approx 450 kids in a 2 hour period!   We also hold food drives every January, July and November for our local communities.  We have raised over 500,000 lbs of food in the past 20 years.  There are other events and promotions that we do that are part of our community.

Tell us about any involvement you have, or coverage you provide, to any agriculture related groups.

Twice a year, spring and fall, we host an Agriculture Roundtable with local farmers, local politicians, state politicians and some national politicians. From August 2016 until June 2020, we hosted an agriculture program that was hosted every Friday by local high school students.  They wrote their own show, invited their own guests and conducted their own interviews.  The students were offered an opportunity to move the show to cable access TV and left in June.
