CME dairy markets steady to higher Tuesday

Milk futures rose and cash dairy prices were steady to higher Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December Class III milk was up $0.06 at $20.47.  January was up $0.05 at $20.04.  February was up $0.02 at $19.74.  March was up $0.07 at $19.91.  April through October contracts ranged from unchanged in September and October to fifteen cents higher in April.

Dry whey was stagnant for much of the last two weeks but moved up $0.0075 closing at $0.4575 Tuesday.
