Mary Lord, 90, died on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Lutheran Living.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday , January 6, 2023, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend David Wood will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023, at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com. Mary was born on September 27, 1932 in rural Nichols, the daughter of Richard and Alice Yedlik Lord Jr. She was a long-time member of Walnut Park Baptist Church, and also attended West Liberty Christian Fellowship. Mary was a woman of deep faith, and read her Bible religiously. She enjoyed sharing in Christian fellowship with others, and never missed watching the 700 Club. She also spent time gardening, and had an impressive iris collection. She loved all her dogs, especially Babe.
She is survived by her cousins, Sally Lord, David Lord, and Ted Neff.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; cousins, Richard Lord and Bill Hoits.
