A more sustainable fabric

In recent years the U.S. cotton industry has worked to continuously improve its environmental footprint.  Georgia cotton producer Matt Coley says producers have taken steps to improve water use efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve energy efficiency.

He says the US Cotton Trust Protocol was created to establish quantifiable and verifiable goals to measure the sustainability of U.S. cotton production.
