Milk futures were lower and the cash dairy markets were up except for barrels Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
September Class III milk was down $0.07 at $17.84. October was down $0.17 at $17.63. November was down $0.09 at $17.91. December was down $0.07 at $17.93. January through July contracts ranged from five cents lower in February and April to one cent higher in January.
Dry whey was up $0.0075 at $0.2650. One sale was recorded at that price.
Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0075 at $2.0250.
