Milk futures were higher and the cash dairy markets were mostly lower Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
September Class III milk was up $0.39 at $18.88. October was up $0.22 at $18.21. November was up $0.08 at $18.26. December was up $0.10 at $18.23. January through July contracts ranged from unchanged in January and June to fourteen cents higher in March.
Dry whey was down $0.01 at $0.26. Four sales was recorded, ranging from $0.26 to $0.2625.
Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.02 at $2.0075.
