Wisconsin farmers took advantage of the weather to harvest hay, oats, and wheat and other crops are progressing well. USDA statistician Greg Bussler says Wisconsin’s corn silking was 95 percent complete as of Sunday. Sixty-four percent of corn had reached the dough stage, and nine percent of the corn had reached the dent stage. Corn condition was 55 percent good to excellent, equal to last week.
Ninety-four percent of the soybean crop has bloomed.
