Milk futures were lower and the cash dairy markets were mixed Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
September Class III milk was down $0.28 at $18.61. October was down $0.18 at $18.92. November was down $0.19 at $18.59. December was down $0.21 at $18.44. January through July contracts ranged from seven cents lower in January to five cents higher in June and July.
Dry whey was unchanged at $0.3050. One sale was recorded at that price.
Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0425 at $1.95.
