A technical marketing manager for herbicides at BASF says post emergence herbicides have been challenged by the hot, dry conditions this year and waterhemp was tougher to control.
Liam Vincent says farmers had to rely more on postemergence chemistries and “that’s just tough, especially when you put a residual in and it doesn’t activate, but it helped us learn some of those best knock-down applications.”
