Proper cooking and baking are critical to food safety

Processing raw grains into flour does not kill any potential harmful bacteria and cooking is the only way to ensure foods made with flour are safe.

Molly Miller, with the North American Millers’ Association, says the microwave isn’t a shortcut to food safety.
