Nebraska farmers took advantage of favorable weather conditions last week for corn and soybean harvests.
The USDA says 7 percent of corn is in and 50 percent of the crop is rated good-to-excellent. Four percent of soybeans have been harvested with 47 percent rated good-to-excellent.
Two percent of sorghum has been harvested and 20 percent of dry edible beans are in.
Twenty-two percent of winter wheat has been planted.
