Northeast Nebraska farmer Anne Meis says soybean harvest has wrapped up just ahead of this week’s rainstorm.
“We’ve gotten over an inch over the night in this area. That will give everybody a break from harvesting. I think it will be fine to have a break. Th soybean fields were getting pretty dusty and we don’t want any fire hazards out there.”
She tells Brownfield she was surprised by yields. “We had some dryland beans that were in the midi 50s.
