Michigan’s harvest remains delayed with corn and soybean moisture levels above the five-year average.
As of Sunday, the USDA says corn is rated at 56 percent good to excellent with 74 percent mature. Seventeen percent of corn has been harvested for grain and 89 percent for silage.
Soybeans are 91 percent dropping leaves and 32 percent harvested with 51 percent of the crop in good to excellent shape.
Dry beans are 88 percent harvested while sugarbeets are at 20 percent harvested and rated 51 percent good to excellent.
Winter wheat is 44 percent planted and 26 percent emerged.
