A South-Central Nebraska farmer says two rounds of large hail and damaging winds took a major toll on is corn and soybean yields.
Eric Hausermann tells Brownfield dryland soybeans suffered the most. “I’m going to say in the range of 10 to 15 bushels. Dry land corn is also down this year. We’ve experienced probably a range from anywhere from 70 to 100 bushels.”
He says he considered not combining his soybean crop.
