Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says the USDA is continuing its efforts partnering with farmers and American businesses to increase food and domestic fertilizer production.
During a stop at a Northern Illinois farm on Monday, Secretary Vilsack announced more than $50 million in funding to expand domestic fertilizer production. This is part of the Biden administration’s broader commitments, which also included increasing insurance coverage for double cropping, announced in 2022 to help producers increase production and address global food security.
