Milk futures were mostly steady to lower and the cash dairy markets were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
November Class III milk was unchanged at $17.55. December was up $0.04 at $17.42. January was unchanged at $17.72. February was down $0.03 at $18.08 March through September contracts ranged from nine cents lower in June to thirteen cents higher in September.
Dry whey was up $0.0275 at $0.3950. One sale was recorded at $0.39.
Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.73.
