The USDA says harvest progress continues to be above the average pace in Nebraska.
As of Sunday, 76% of the state’s corn has been harvested, near 78% last year, but ahead of 65% for the five-year average.
Soybeans harvested was 92%, near 96% last year, and ahead of 90% on average.
Ninety-five percent of Nebraska’s winter wheat crop has emerged and conditions are rated 41% good to excellent.
USDA says 69% of the state’s sorghum harvest is complete, ahead of the five-year average of 68%.
