Ohio corn remains wet

Ohio’s soybean harvest is ahead of the five-year average, but corn moisture levels are causing delays.

The USDA says corn is now rated at 86 percent good to excellent with 95 percent mature, and 29 percent harvested for grain. Moisture content averaged 23 percent for the week.

Soybeans are 80 percent harvested, with an average moisture level of 13 percent.

Winter wheat is 87 percent planted, 57 percent emerged and rated 81 percent good to excellent.
