Take a journey to the deserts of the Southwest! Children are invited to join Julie of the Muscatine Art Center to paint a landscape in the style of American artist Georgia O’Keeffe on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Admission is free, but registration is required by Friday, November 17.
Afterwards, participants may top off their creations with a 3-D clay cow skull like the ones O’Keeffee painted in her beloved New Mexico.
The Muscatine Art Center is home to “White Lotus” by Georgia O’Keeffe. Be sure to stop and view the painting on display in the
Musser-McColm Mansion.
