The U.S. corn and soybean harvests are nearing the finish line. That followed a mostly favorable week for weather in much of the Midwest and Plains with parts of the region expected to see more dry and relatively warm conditions this week.
As of Sunday, the USDA says 88% of U.S. corn has been harvested, compared to 86% on average, with 95% of the soybean crop harvested, compared to 91% on average.
