Ronald Loga – Voice Of Muscatine



Ronald Loga, 76, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Friendship Manor, Rock Island, Illinois.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Barbara Muhn will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice or charity of choice. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Ron was born on July 27, 1947, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Ed and Mary Kawlenka Loga. He married Ruth Ann Hoffman on July 26, 1973.

Ron was a Muscatine High School graduate of 1966 where he lettered in baseball, basketball, and football. He graduated from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois. He was a supervisor at Kent Feeds in the printing department for 34 years. Ron was a member of Faith United and of the American Legion post 0027.

Ron was an avid collector of model cars, enjoyed listening to hip-hop music, and was a big Yankees fan, but loved all sports.

Ron is survived by cousins, Neil and Donna Bedford, Ralph Burr, Gerald Burr, Nancy Wangberg (Dave), Barb Muhn (Jon), Patricia Mundell (Brian), Debbie Burr, Kyle and Valerie Knopp, Gary and Carla Hucke, and Susan Phillips.

He is preceded in death by his parents and many cousins.
