A Midwestern governor says demand for renewable fuels has been increasing.
Iowa’s Kim Reynolds says the biofuels industry can build on significant progress that was made over the last year. “2023 was a great year for ethanol and biodiesel as all of you kind of defied drought, regulatory uncertainty and high inflation to meet record demand for renewable fuels.”
She says finalizing a permanent fix for year-round E15 sales can be the next big milestone.
