Ray Ketcham, 61 of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at his home. Visitation for Ray will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Service of Muscatine. A time of sharing will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Port Louisa Cemetery at a later date. A memorial has been established in Ray’s name. Raymond Rodger Ketcham was born on June 4, 1962 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Donald “Sam” and Esther (Wohlenhaus) Ketcham. Ray graduated from high school in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. On October 8, 2016, he was united in marriage to Angie Grimm in Muscatine. Ray worked for over 33 years as a mail carrier for the Muscatine Post Office. He enjoyed fishing, toy trains, trap shooting, playing poker and motorcycles.
Ray will be deeply missed by his wife, Angie Ketcham of Muscatine; children, Megan Ketcham, Keith (Hannah) Ketcham and Melissa (Sean) Robbins; step-children, Nic (Danielle) Stratton and Alex (Anthony) Longhurst; grandchildren, SJ, Tucker and Claire Ketcham, Natalie Stratton, Lilly, Alaina, Oliver, James and Henry Longhurst; father-in-law, Keith Grimm; sisters-in-law, Amy (Rich) Lugo and Julie Grimm; brothers-in-law, Josh Grimm and Jeb (Robin) Grimm and several nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents.
