RMA Administrator touts growth of livestock producer options – Voice Of Muscatine

The administrator of USDA’s Risk Management Agency says more producers than ever are utilizing insurance options, especially for livestock. 

Marcia Bunger tells Brownfield…

“We have grown by almost 10,000%,” she says.

Bunger believes the growth stems from recent improvements to the Livestock Risk Protection and Gross Margin programs.

“It really speaks to the answer of call from USDA to livestock producers to provide additional new improved livestock products,” she says.
