A member of the U.S. House Ag Committee says it seems like the farm bill could be delayed until after elections at the rate Congress is currently moving.
Republican Congressman Max Miller of Ohio tells Brownfield action has been limited.
“I’m very disappointed,” he says. “The farm bill was supposed to pass in March, the Speaker told us that we’re not going to meet that deadline and really what it comes down to, unfortunately, is that this is really politics at play.”
Miller is leading a group of bipartisan lawmakers in the U.S.
