Milk futures and the cash dairy markets were mostly lower again Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
March Class III milk was down $0.07 at $16.70. April was down $0.20 at $16.58. May was down $0.17 at $17.05. June was down $0.13 at $17.62.
July through January contracts ranged from ten cents lower in September to eight cents higher in December, but December was the only month with a price gain. Monday’s Class III trade volume was 1,250 contracts.
Dry whey was unchanged at $0.4250. No sales were recorded.
