Educating the next generation of agricultural workers was the focus of a Wisconsin National Ag Day event.
Northcentral Technical College near Wausau is the only two-year campus in Wisconsin teaching ag and veterinary technician courses on their own campus farm. During a student Ag Day discussion panel, Brownfield asked how they would get more young people interested in ag careers.
Dairy Science student Isaac Kruger said where he was growing up, no one was exposed to ag fields until middle school.
