The Compost Facility at the Muscatine Transfer Station, 1000 South Houser Street, will be closed today, April 2, due to the rain and potential for snow this afternoon. The facility will reopen on Wednesday, April 3, depending on the weather conditions. The Compost Facility is open 12-6 p.m. Sunday-Saturday during April with expanded hours coming in May.
