The small parking lot on the downriver end of Riverside Park (playground area) will be closed to traffic starting at 7 a.m. Thursday, June 27, for Almost Friday Fest® on the Muscatine riverfront.
This is the second event of the season for Almost Friday Fest® with the theme Almost Fiesta Fest featuring free entertainment from 5-9 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the entertainment along with food vendors and a beer/wine tent.
Attendees should use caution as the Mississippi River is rising and will be above minor flood stage (16-feet) Thursday. The water level should not impact the parking area for those attending the event, but the situation may change depending on rainfall in the upper Mississippi River basin Tuesday.
