East 3rd Street will be closed to traffic from Cedar to Sycamore 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, morning for the Muscatine Area Farmers Market Customer Appreciation Day.
In addition to the regular vendors located in the parking lot across from Muscatine City Hall, Muscatine Area Farmers Market will have other offerings located on East 3rd Street as part of their celebration including the music of Jonz Acoustic and Frankie Joe & Kinfolk, free balloon animals from Wes the Balloon Guy, magic performed by David Casas Magic, and free face painting by Hailey.
The event is part of National Farmers Market Week (August 4-10).
Traffic will be detoured to either East 2nd Street or to East 4th Street.
