Lane restrictions will be in place on Hershey Avenue beginning today, August 23, and continuing through next week as Muscatine Power & Water installs underground electrical service to McKee Plaza, the former McKee Button Factory currently being renovated by Kent Corporation. The work should be completed by August 30, weather permitting.
The three lanes of Hershey Avenue will be reduced to two lanes from the transition of Mississippi Drive into Hershey Avenue to approximately in front of 1033 Hershey Avenue. The underground work will be at 1029 Hershey Avenue necessitating the closure of the westbound driving lane.
