The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a scary good time this Halloween season as children will have the opportunity to gather goodies and show off their costumes under a spook-tacular light show. Festivities will take place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, at Kent Stein Park.
Decorated vehicles will be lined up in the Kent Stein parking lot on the north side of Oneida Avenue to provide trick or treating opportunities beginning at 6:00 p.m. Children are reminded to wear their Halloween costumes and bring their own trick-or-treat bag, while parents and/or caregivers are urged to dress up as well in honor of the Halloween season.
Attendees may park in Kent Stein Park on the south side of Oneida Avenue or at the Muscatine Soccer Complex that is just a short walk away.
Trunk decorators are needed! Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department by phone at (563) 263-0241 or via email at parksoffice@muscatineiowa.gov to reserve a parking space for your trunk.
