Penny Morter and Melissa Schumaker, teachers at Grant Elementary and McKinley Elementary School, have been named the recipients of the Bridgestone Classroom of the Quarter grants both valued at $500.
Morter and Schumaker will use the grant money to purchase assistive technology devices to communicate with non-English-speaking students (those who are learning English or have recently moved to Muscatine).
