Climate terminates partnership with Tillable
Climate FieldView has terminated its platform partnership with Tillable, an online marketplace for farmland rental.
The move comes after many farmers expressed concern on social media that Tillable might be using their data to bid up farmland rental rates.
In separate statements, both companies said that Tillable has not had access to FieldView data and that any data sharing through the partnership was going to be completely voluntary for farmers.
Climate Corporation CEO Mike Stern said the decision to terminate the partnership was based on the feedback received from customers.
