Winter wheat conditions improve in Nebraska

The USDA says winter wheat crop conditions improved in Nebraska during February.

69% of the state’s crop is in good to excellent condition, up 10% from January, and a lower percentage of the state is reporting surplus soil moisture.

The USDA’s weekly crop progress and condition reports resume in April.
