The Senate
passed a coronavirus relief bill to combat the coronavirus pandemic. The legislation
was passed on a 90-8 vote and will now head to President Trump’s desk.
The legislation
will address food and nutrition needs, provide paid
sick leave for impacted workers, and provide free testing for the coronavirus.
Senate Ag Committee Ranking Member Debbie Stabenow says the bill will expand access to healthy food for seniors, expecting mothers, children, and those working unreliable hours.
