Beef Complex fire under investigation
The investigation into the cause of the fire that badly damaged the Beef Complex at the South Dakota State Fairgrounds early Saturday morning continues. The joint investigation is being done by the State Fair Marshal, the Huron Fire Department and the Department of Criminal Investigation. No people or animals were hurt in the fire which was contained by 4 am Saturday.
The South Dakota Barrell Racing finals that were scheduled to be held on the fairgrounds later Saturday were cancelled.
