Lower Energy Costs Act passes U.S. House

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed legislation that aims to increase domestic energy production, reduce regulatory burdens, and streamline energy infrastructure and exports.

House Agriculture Committee Chairman Glenn “GT” Thompson, says the Lower Energy Costs Act would provide a reprieve for America’s families, including farmers, ranchers, and foresters, who have struggled with supply chain challenges, rising input costs, and inflation.  

The bill passed by a 225 to 204 vote, and now heads to the U.S.
