2021 DMC sign up opens October 13

Sign up for the next round of the Dairy Margin Coverage Program begins Tuesday.

The USDA says its online decision tool to assist farmers with calculating premiums has been updated to include historical analysis and more comprehensive support.

The Dairy Margin Coverage program has made nearly $200 million in total payments to some farmers during the months of March, April, and May who were covered for at least the $9.50 level.

Enrollment for 2021 for the voluntary risk management program ends December 11.
